Why only play and listen to what we know and understand? Isn’t it more exciting to look for and encounter new things? How thrilling it is when we do not understand. How special it is to create something from scratch and to be part of the process. As musicians. As an audience.

“Van Niets Iets maken” – Kunstenaars uit diverse disciplines bundelen hun krachten voor Genesis – a new beginning. De jonge musici van Kamerorkest van het Noorden werken samen met Tatiana Koleva (marimba), Eduardo Canto Arce (viool) en Guus Kuijer (verteller).

Making-of ‘De Ligstoelsessies 21’. This project focused on the collective creation of the group of musicians in collaboration with the stage director Elsina Jansen. During the process, the performers become makers combining music, text and theatricality.
